The openplan dining and exhibition area
The Machinations visitor centre café in Llanbrynmair is open seven days a week.
We specialise in home cooked food made from fresh ingredients on the premises.
Hot meals include chicken or vegetable curry, shepherd's pie, vegetable lasagne, jacket potatoes with various fillings, full breakfasts and a variety of delicious soups.
Snacks include sandwiches, toasties, crisps, cakes, muffins, apple pie, scones, flapjack and traditional welsh cakes and bara brith.
Fresh coffee, of course, and a variety of hot and cold drinks always available
Some meals are suitable for vegans, vegetarians and coeliacs although special dietary requirements are better catered for with advance warning, when we will be happy to do anything we can to help.
The kitchen, dining area, shop and exhibition are all open plan so you can watch the cooks at work or keep an eye on children exploring the different areas, where they will have plenty to see and do while you have a restful break.
We even have a table permanently set up with drawing and painting materials for the budding artists and mess makers!
There is also a lovely riverside terrace to sit out on, a rabbit village enclosure and an outdoor area next to the entrance for dog owners.
We welcome walkers, cyclists and motorcyclists - however muddy!
The Cafe space is also available for hire for private functions including Christmas Parties.
Give us a call and we can discuss options.
